Modelling of air gaps for insulation coordination in high-voltage direct current transmission


Funding period: 2019 - 2022

A mathematical simulation-based simulation of air gaps with respect to the dielectric strength of air is used for the insulation coordination of high voltage direct current transmission applications. In particular, the impact analysis of variable parameters on the discharge processes of the medium air is supported and advanced.
